The biggest complaint about 3D movies, except the glasses annoying, is the price. All Films 3D has a nailed on penalty of a few dollars, which can really add up - especially since most 3D press so far have been family films. The key for you (and surely there are many) who do not like the sound of this story is to protest rather than continue to complain. Boycott the theaters that are exploiting to make Alice in Wonderland as a complete success. Variety quoted the report of the survey, as saying, "if consumers absorb price increases without problem, we think that bodes well for the pricing power of the exhibition industry cinema."
