1. Tignes, France
It may not be the most beautiful ski resorts (apartment blocks and austere environment without trees), but the appeal of Tignes is at its high altitude (their slopes are between 1.550 m-3, 450), making it one of the most snow sure ski resorts in the Alps. You can expect a good layer of snow, even down to the village until late May, and there year-round skiing on the Grande Motte glacier (with the exception of brief closures in mid-May to mid June and September-October). 3. Obergurgl, Austria,

5. Cervinia, Italy

7. Whistler, Canada
